A second defeat of the season for Chelsea who lost 1-0 against Juventus in the Uefa Champions League group stages, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A good first half in terms of keeping a clean sheet as both teams were unable to make anything happen despite the amount of quality they possess.
Things looked a bit rough for Chelsea who couldn’t control things in the few minutes of the first 45 minutes as it progressed.
Juventus who had the home advantage also couldn’t make things easy for themselves despite their push for a goal which proved difficult.
The scoreline remained goalless as hostilities continued with more opportunities being created while none could be converted.
It was already looking like the first 45 minutes would end in a goalless draw as both teams entered the final stages with nothing to show going forward.
The first half finally came to an end with Juventus playing a goalless draw against Chelsea as they both headed for the break after a long 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half started nicely between the two sides who couldn’t find a breakthrough in the first 45 minutes which was very dry and boring.
Bernardeschi was able to pick out Federico Chiesa who made sure his finishing was perfect for Juventus to take a 1-0 lead after an amazing display saw the forward scored.
Chelsea was looking good in terms of dominance and ball possession, but they couldn’t make all those things count for them against a strong Juve defense.
The match continued with the Blues seeing more of the ball but unable to make anything happen as things looked further away from them.
Nothing could come out of the remainder of the match which ended with Juventus 1-0, Chelsea, as the Turin outfit claimed a win which gives them six points.
