Brahim Diaz scored the only goal as AC Milan beat Sampdoria 0-1 with Olivier Giroud making his debut which he played all through, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Good first half encounter with both Italian sides doing what was necessary of them as they produced a good performance which the away side was better.
It took AC Milan 9 minutes to take the lead which came after a nice buildup from play which saw the second-placed team last season scoring 0-1 thanks to Brahim Diaz.
The momentum for the home side wasn’t that bad but they couldn’t lead to them getting anything as they only got close but not finishing the job on many occasions.
It was almost an evenly balance first 45 minutes of the game which saw the away side dominating with just a small margin when it came to the ball possession of the encounter.
The first half carried on with nothing more as it ended with Sampdoria 0-1 AC Milan as they headed for the break after an amazing 45 minutes of good football.
Second Half Report
It was a busy second half as both sides made things difficult for their strikers and other players to find the back of the net in the early minutes.
Sampdoria looked better than they did in the first 45 minutes of the game which wasn’t that good with them conceding very early after an attack from their opponent.
Things weren’t looking good for AC Milan as they struggled going forward despite having Olivier Giroud as their main striker who was on fire during their preseason preparations.
More coming either way as nothing much more but just yellow cards being shown to a few players from both teams as things became heated between them in the final minutes.
The encounter ended with Sampdoria 0-1 AC Milan as the away side claimed all three points after a narrow win which proved very difficult to attain.
