Manchester United knocked back an approach made by West Ham to seal a move for Jesse Lingard on many occasions this summer, MySportDab reports.

Despite claims of him nearing a move back to the Hammers where he rediscovered his form last season from a short loan spell with the club.

Jesse Lingard misses out on making any move before the summer window closes as they are days left for shut down.

It been a not so good start of the season with Manchester United as he has yet again been dropped to the bench despite him being promised more game time.

Jadon Sancho’s arrival will also add to his problems with the club guarantee to give the new signing more time over him if it leads to a chance playing.

He needs to force a move out of the club as his future is on the line and there is no chance of him being part of the starting team with the Red Devils.

Manchester United have already knocked back an approach from West Ham for Jesse Lingard, according to claims reaching us from ESPN.

The England international playmaker starred for the Hammers on loan last season and is wanted back at the London Stadium amid fierce competition for places at Old Trafford.

It is yet unknown if the winger would make a move this summer with Manchester United not looking to let him go as they need depth in their squad after making Champions League return.

Jesse Lingard played a huge part in the club preseason but was down with Covid-19 which lead to him missing the last game, but he is back and made an appearance in United last game.
