Angry Arsenal fans confronted Coach Mikel Arteta on Sunday after the 2-0 loss against Chelsea, MySportDab reports. 

The fans stopped Arteta from leaving the Emirates Stadium in his car on Sunday.

A video now trending showed a group of frustrated fans surrounding the Arteta’s car and shouting at him to leave the club.

The Gunners have now suffered their second loss of the 2021-2022 season.

The fans asked Arteta to ‘leave’ Arsenal after their worst start to a Premier League season in their 118-year history.

Arsenal yet again lost in the Premier League on Sunday after goals from Romelu Lukaku and Reece James for Chelsea.

The result is so far Arsenal’s second loss of the season, after last week’s 2-0 loss against Brentford.

However, Arteta’s team have failed to score in any goals in their opening two matches so far, which is now their worst start to a season in 118 years.

Fans expressed their frustration and booed their own players off the pitch at both the half-time and full-time of the Chelsea match.

They confronted Arteta outside the Emirates Stadium and asked him to ‘do yourself a favour’ by resigning.

After the home match against Chelsea, Arteta was harassed by Arsenal fans outside the stadium.

The fans stopped him from leaving the club as they stood around his car.

The fans also said: ‘Arteta, do yourself a favour and leave the club’ before security guards took them away from the car.

Arteta did not respond to the fans from his car and drove away.

Arteta will hope to turn Arsenal’s season around in their Carabao Cup match against West Brom on Wednesday.

Arsenal then face Manchester City next in the Premier League on Saturday.
