Real Madrid and Manchester United are now in contact and talks are already going on for an agreement between the two clubs for Raphael Varane.

The Los Blancos are still hoping they will change the mind of the defender by making sure he signs an extension to remain beyond his last 12 months.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed both teams are already in contact for a potential deal waiting to be agreed upon.

Reports earlier coming in suggested that Real Madrid will do everything to make the deal difficult for any club looking to sign Raphael Varane this summer.

Manchester United is not backing down after just concluding some major deals which include Jadon Sancho finally completing a move to Old Trafford.

They also have their minds on extending Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba’s contract with both expected to get a pay rise to remain with the club.

It has been a busy market as the Red Devils signed goalkeeper Heaton and also extended Juan Mata’s contract by one year more.

Players like Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial might be finally heading for the exit with Jadon Sancho coming in and also more deals looking to be done.

If Manchester United wrap up Raphael Varane deal, they might look into Declan Rice next as Chelsea are also in the race with them for the youngster.
