Spotify founder Daniel Ek has now revealed that he is ready buy Arsenal from current owner Stan Kroenke, MySportDab reports.
Stan Kroenke is the reason behind recent protests by fans outside the Emirates Stadium.
The protests started after Arsenal decided to join the new European Super League last week.
Swedish billionaire EK started Spotify 13 years ago and the music platform is now worth over £58billion.
Daniel Ek has been a long fan of Arsenal since he was a child and now revealed his desire to buy the club in a tweet.
He wrote on Twitter:
According to Forbes, Ek has a net worth of £4.7billion.
Arsenal’s main shareholder Kroenke is worth around £1.2bn more than the Swede billionaire.
Arsenal fans stood outside the Emirates stadium with banners protesting against Stan Kroenke before their Premier League match against Everton on Friday.
Kroenke has been part of the Arsenal ownership since 2008 but fans are now frustrated with his lack of investment in the club.
His son, Josh, spoke to fans on Thursday night in a fan’s forum and was ordered by some fans to sell the club.
Josh responded: ‘We lost all your trust in us last week, I understand, but I still believe that we will do more in our positions as the family at Arsenal.’
