Leeds United have made their intentions known as they enter the race to sign Man City striker Sergio Aguero who will become a free agent, MySportDab reports.
The Argentine striker has called it quit with the Etihad outfit and will be leaving when the season comes to an end.
Leeds United are now amongst the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain all showing interest for Sergio Aguero.
Whites hope to bring Argentine to Elland Road as they are set to go against the top clubs in Europe for a chance to win the race to sign the striker.
It was confirmed last month that Aguero will leave Manchester City when his contract expires at the end of the season after a glittering, trophy-filled decade at Etihad Stadium.
A host of clubs have been linked with the 32-year-old since including the likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
Leeds hope the presence of fellow Argentine Marcelo Bielsa in the dugout will be enough to tempt the striker to Elland Road.
Although it won’t be an easy one with the amount Sergio Aguero earns weekly including his total package which the newly promoted side might not be able to afford.
A deal with them looks unlikely to happen financially unless a certain pay cut of deal which might not likely be the issue with Barcelona and Chelsea ready to pay him.
