Two founding members Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid have both pulled out of the European Super League today, MySportDab reports.
Both teams at the two clubs who recently withdraw from the competition due to the recent outbreak with fans protest.
Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have both pulled out of European Super League with the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona yet to give any statement.
The big six Premier League teams dropped out of the competition yesterday as others followed suit and made their withdrawal public.
According to Inter Milan Official Statements;
“Inter confirms that the club is no longer a member of the Super League project.
We are always committed to giving the fans the best football experience; innovation and inclusion are part of our DNA”.
While Atletico Madrid Statements;
“The Atletico Madrid Board of Directors, met this morning, and has decided to formally communicate to the Super League, and the rest of the founding clubs its decision not to finally formalise its adherence to the project,” it read.
“Atletico Madrid made the decision last Monday to join the project in response to circumstances that no longer exist today.
“For the club, harmony is essential between all the groups that make up the Rojiblancos family, especially our fans.
There are still yet no confirmation from FIFA or UEFA if they will be a punishment for those founding clubs despite them withdrawing.
