Chelsea Coach Thomas Tuchel has now praised Kai Haverta for his performance against Everton on Monday, MySportDab reports.
Havertz got an assist and won the penalty that secured all three points for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The 2-0 win against Everton has helped Chelsea to continue their unbeaten start across all competitions under Thomas Tuchel.
Havertz has struggled in the Premier League since his £72million transfer last summer from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old has struggled for fitness after being infected with CoronaVirus.
But he finally impressed Chelsea fans with an example of what to expect from him in the future.
Tuchel now wants Havertz to do more going forward.
He told BT Sport: “Very impressed with Kai. We gave him our trust and he performed very well.
“He has all the ability to be a dominant player in attack and he has now stepped up.”
Chelsea moved into fourth place with the win against Everton.
However, Thomas Tuchel is delighted with his progress at the club since he arrived.
“We deserved the win,” Tuchel added.
“It was a tough first half but we did everything very well. In the second half we increased our tempo with more dangerous attacks.
“The quality of the players and the club here is just impressive. It is a pleasure to work with the team.
“Everybody here is doing everything to compete at this top level.”
