Burak Yilmaz bagged a hat trick while Calhanoglu scored and made an assists as Turkey defeated Netherlands 4-2 in their World Cup qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It wasn’t too good for the away side who were less impressive with the home team dominating the half and scoring two goals.
Burak Yilmaz opened the goal scoring in the 15th minute of the game from a great play which saw AC Milan midfielder Calhanoglu making the assist that made it 1-0.
Netherlands were very poor in defending as the game progressed with them conceding another goal in the 34th minute from the penalty spot which was scored by Burak Yilmaz.
The game progressed without any goal action which saw the first half ending with Turkey 2-0 Netherlands as they both headed for the break with advantage to the home team.
Second Half Report
It second half started well with both teams doing enough to get early chances which wasn’t executed properly.
Netherlands couldn’t hold on to the game as their opponent scored a third goal in the 46th minute through Hakan Calhanoglu which made it 3-0.
Davy Klaassen pulled one back against Turkey in the 75th minute of the game after an amazing build up play saw the player made it 3-1.
Luuk de Jong added another goal as the away side came back dominating and making the scoreline 3-2 in the 77th minute.
Burak Yilmaz completed his hat trick in the 81st minute which spoiled all hopes of the away side coming back into the game as it turned 4-2.
The match ended with Turkey 4-2 Netherlands as the home side claimed three points to sit top of the group after the victory.
