David Alaba £20 million wage demand might see Chelsea pull out of the race to sign the Bayern Munich defender.

Real Madrid still in contention to sign Bayern Munich star so as the Blues but the only issue seems to be the wage.

Chelsea will have to give up hope of signing David Alaba this summer unless he lowers his wage demands.

According to reports by The Telegraph says the Austria international is demanding £20 million ($27m) a year from his next club.

And the Blues might be forced to drop their interest in the player who might be a huge addition for their campaign next season.

Alaba will leave Bayern Munich for free at the end of the season and Real Madrid have also been linked with the Austrian International.

Chelsea recently completed a deal which will see Jerome Boating move to Stamford Bridge next season for free.
