Bayern Munich has final won the race to sign Chelsea and Manchester United target Dayot Upamecano ahead of the summer window, MySportDab reports.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with a move for the 22 year old but they all will have to look elsewhere.
However, Bayern Munich have agreed to pay Upamecano’s £37.2million (€42.5m) release clause this summer.
Bayern chief Hasan Salihamidzic told German outlet Bild: “I can confirm that and we are very happy about that at FC Bayern.
“We had very good, intensive and professional discussions with Dayot and his agent Volker Struth for several months.”
It is understood Upamecano has agreed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich, who have won eight successive Bundesliga titles.
Liverpool had been tipped to make a move for Upamecano in the January transfer window following injuries to Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip.
The Reds end up signing Ben Davies from Preston which didn’t cost them much but are currently struggling.
Chelsea on the other hand already agree a move for Jerome Boateng and are waiting to complete Alaba move pending he agree to pay cut.
Manchester United didn’t make any new addition as they still looking to sign Jadon Sancho in the summer.
