Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now praised midfielder Paul Pogba after his crucial goal vs Burnley on Tuesday, MySportDab reports.

Pogba scored the only goal in a tight game at Turf Moor as United moved top of the Premier League table, three points ahead of Liverpool.

The Red Devils travel to Anfield next on Sunday to to play Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Manchester United Legend Gary Neville named Pogba his man of the match.

The French midfielder remains linked with a move away from united.

However, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Pogba is a “key player” for the club.

“I’ve said it before Paul is a key player for us, he’s character in the dressing room is fantastic,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

“He’s the one player that so many young guys look up to, he’s a world champion.

“I think we’re seeing the very best from Pogba right now, better and better for every match.

“He was injured for some time and had COVID, it’s natural that he needed time to be fit.

Paul Pogba was also delighted to have scored the goal which secured the win for Manchester United.

Paul told Sky Sports: “We know the game today was tough, difficult and yes we wanted to win.

“We know it’s difficult to play here. We won all three points and we’re happy but there’s still a long way to go.

“We must now focus again until the end of this season.

“Clearly the match was going both ways, it’s hard to play here.

“They have different of play, strong and we knew it would be tough.”
