Chelsea played out a goalless draw against Wolves as Thomas Tuchel took over his first game as manager of the Blues after Frank Lampard sacking on Monday, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was brilliant from both side who had their fair share of chances on goal as the Blues dominated the entire first 45 minutes.
Wolves were less of a threat going forward as they were mostly pressured in the 45 minutes which saw them taking care of their defense very well.
Chelsea were frustrated in the game as Olivier Giroud couldn’t get more chance to navigate well and produced something good which was what was needed.
The first half of the encounter ended with Chelsea 0-0 Wolves as they both headed for the break in a goalless draw.
Second Half Report
The second half was more of the same as no one was able to make anything happen yet again despite the amount of chances created in the second 45 minutes.
Chelsea continued with their dominance which saw Kai Havertz showing the quality that was missing for a very long time since making his move to Stamford Bridge.
Wolves held on their ground as they didn’t let anything go past them despite the amount of pressure they soaked in the second half of the game.
The match ended with Chelsea 0-0 Wolves as both sides shared the points each with Thomas Tuchel settling for a draw as the new boss in charge of the team.
