Goal from Jamie Vardy and an own goal from Toby Alderweireld spelled doom for Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham who lost 2-0 at home against Leicester City, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was evenly match with one goal scored by the away side who were outstanding.

Tottenham had the game in their control as they dominated the early proceedings but creating chances and scoring was very difficult.

Leicester City wasn’t that much of a threat but Jamie Vardy was able to convert from the penalty spot to give his side a 1-0 late in the half.

The first half ended with Tottenham 0-1 Leicester City as they both headed for the break with the Foxes taking the lead.

Second Half Report

The second half was more entertaining and bad for Spurs who totally lost control of the game which they needed a win.

Leicester City thought they increased the lead in the 48th minute when James Maddison scored, although the goal was ruled out by VAR.

Tottenham were pressured and forced into committing an own goal which came through Toby Alderweireld in the 60th minute to make it 2-0.
