Edison Cavani alongside Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez scored as Uruguay beat Colombia 3-0 in World Cup qualifiers, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was evenly matched but the away side managed to score one goal as they had more chances.
Edison Cavani scored with just 5 minutes gone in the game as Uruguay took the lead from a fine finish to make it 1-0.
Colombia tried everything possible to make a quick comeback but they failed in making anything happen.
The first half ended Colombia 0-1 Uruguay as the visitor took the advantage heading into the break.
Second Half Report
The second half was much better with two goals scored by the side who dominated the entire game.
Luis Suarez made it 2-0 for Uruguay after scoring from the penalty spot in the 54th minute as a foul was committed.
Colombia still couldn’t find an answer to them conceding in the match as they had little going forward.
Darwin Nunez made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute for his after he converted from a fantastic build up play which wrapped up the game.
Yerri Mina was shown a late red card as the match ended Colombia 0-3 Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers.
