A lone goal from Roberto Firmino ensures Brazil beat Venezuela 1-0 in a very tough game for World Cup qualifiers, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game closely matched as both sides couldn’t find the back of the net despite the chances created.
Venezuela had few options going forward as they couldn’t get a grip on the game which saw them made few errors.
Brazil pressed hard and tried every opportunity given to them but in the end, it was just poor finishing.
The first half progressed and ended with Brazil 0-0 Venezuela as they both headed for the break in a draw.
Second Half Report
The second half was a bit different as a goal was scored by the home side who had much going forward.
Roberto Firmino broke the deadlock in the 67th minute as Brazil took a 1-0 lead in the game after a nice buildup play and finish.
Venezuela couldn’t make a comeback as they still could not break down the Brazilian wall which was solid.
The game progressed with no goals scored as more chances went begging without anyone to score.
The match ended Brazil 1-0 Venezuela as the Samba Boys recorded another win in their World Cup qualifiers.
