Man United are now in talks with Barcelona as they look to agree on a deal which will see Dembele move to Old Trafford, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils have been frustrated in the transfer market with the only player they were able to get was Donny van der Beek who joined from Ajax.
Other targets are either signing contract extension or moving elsewhere as they couldn’t complete the move.
Man United are now hoping to reach an agreement with Barcelona for the signature of Dembele.
The player is said to worth over £100 million and Barca won’t sell for anything less than the asking price.

The Red Devils want to bring in the Frenchman on a season-long deal which will see him stay in England until end of the season.
The Blaugrana will only agree to the transfer if an obligation to buy is included in the contract for the winger.
Barca want to get Dembele off of their books permanently and currently value the winger at €100 million.

According to MySportDab sources, Manchester United have not submitted a bid for Dembele and he won’t leave Barcelona because he wants to play in La Liga.
Liverpool asked to loan him last month but Dembele has refused to leave Barcelona.
