Gareth Bale will now complete his highly anticipated return to Tottenham after hours of talks with Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.

Bale has agreed to join Tottenham on a season-long loan deal that is worth around £13m in wages.

The Wales man is delighted by the prospect of returning to the club that brought him to the world.

There is officially confirmation yet from Tottenham but only a new papers are left to be signed.

Bale will now return to North London, seven years after he joined Real Madrid for a then world record fee of £90m.

Tottenham’s Coach Jose Mourinho requested for Bale to be signed after a shocking 1-0 defeat against Everton last week.

Mourinho believes that Tottenham needed Bale’s speed and power to relish Tottenham’s attack.

MySportDab understands that there is no player swap involved in the transfer.

The transfer deal for Bale is different as Tottenham are also expected to announce the arrival of Left-back Sergio Reguilon.

Reguilon will undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract and Tottenham have to pay £27m.

Jose Mourinho was asked about Bale in a recent press conference, he said:

‘Yes we all know i tried my best to sign him at Real Madrid which did not happen during my time there.

‘But the club understood my instinct, my knowledge and the season I left they signed Bale to the club.

‘There’s nothing secretive about that. Even Bale knows that. But can’t  speak about him anymore because he’s currently a Real Madrid player.’

Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett also confirmed that the 31-year-old was in talks with Tottenham Coach Jose Mourinho about a move.

“There are lots of issues right now, but yes Gareth is very close to leaving Real Madrid,” Barnett told Sky Sports News.

“It is quite complicated, but there’s hope everything can be sorted out.

“Bale has spoken to Mourinho and revealed his love for Tottenham.”

At Tottenham, Gareth Bale became a fan favourite where he scored 56 goals and provided 58 assists in 203 matches.

In 2013, he won the Tottenham’s Player of the Year Award and the PFA Players’ Player of the Year Award.

Bale was also crowned PFA Young Player of the Year and English Premier League Player of the Season.
