West Brom are in advance talk to sign former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic who’s is now a free agent after leaving Zenith, MySportDab reports.
Newly promoted Premier League side West Brom are now set to complete a move for Ivanovic.
The Serbia player left Zenith Saint Petersburg after his contract expired and the 36 year old is now set for a return to England.
Branialav Ivanovic was exceptional during his time with Chelsea which saw him won the League title alongside other trophies.
West Brom who was recently promoted to the Premier League are now set to complete the move.
West Brom are now in advanced negotiations to sign the ex-Chelsea defender Ivanovic – according to reports from The Telegraph.
The 36-year-old could be unveiled at the Hawthorns before the start of the new season which is in few days.
He could be officially announced before the Baggies play host to Leicester in their first game on Sunday.
Branislav Ivanovic became a free agent after leaving Zenit Saint Petersburg earlier this summer.
He had a successful nine-year spell at Chelsea before deciding on moving to Russia back in 2017.
If the deal and medical is completed before Saturday, Ivanovic might feature against Leicester City.
