Donny van de Beek’s Agent is furious that his client has not started a Premier League match since his transfer to Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
The Dutch playmaker joined United for £40m, and fans were delighted about him playing alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
However, Van De Beek has only played as a substitute during their first two Premier League matches.
He played for 23 minutes against Crystal Palace and came on for the final moments of the match against Brighton.
His contributions were very helpful in both matches, he scored against Palace and won the penalty that helped United win the game against Brighton.
Speaking to Voetbal Primeur, Van De Beek agent Swart said: ‘I don’t like it at all for him to always be a substitute. I can’t imagine myself doing that, being brought with four minutes left to play.’
‘I must say, he has done more good things,’ said Swart.
‘The penalty, which Bruno Fernandes scored, it was from him.
‘Normally they could have lost the match 7-1. Brighton hit the goal post like five times. They have a good team, but such should not happen against Manchester United.’
Donny Van de Beek was in the Starting XI for United in their Carabao Cup match against Luton, and was taken off after 78 minutes.
Ahead of the big game against Tottenham next, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may stick to his usual trio of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, and Fernandes for the match.
