Juventus failed to seal the Serie A title following a shocking loss to Udinese in a 2-1 scoreline which saw De Ligt scored, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first 45 minutes was an exciting encounter which provided just one goal for away side Juventus.
The Turin side was looking to seal off the Italian Serie A league title and it was going well at the beginning of the game.
The home side Udinese also gave a good account of themselves after putting up a fight in the early minutes of the game.
De Ligt made it 1-0 in the 42nd minute after he scored from a shot outside the box to put his side ahead.
It ended first half Udinese 0-1 Juventus as Sarri’s side headed for the break with the lead.
Second Half Report
It was a second 45 minutes of poor display from Juve who were looking out of place.
Two goals went past the Serie A Champions as Udinese ripped them apart in the game.
Ilija Nestorovski header in the 52nd minute made it 1-1 as the home side controlled the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo came close on several occasions to score but his efforts didn’t hit target.
As the game was coming to an end Udinese struck late through Fofana as they took a 2-1 lead over Juventus.
The match ended in a disappointing loss for Juventus as they were unable to claim the league title.
