Cristiano Ronaldo struck twice as Juventus edges closer to sealing Italian Serie A title after a 2-1 win over Lazio, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first 45 minutes of the game was a dull one as both teams were unable to score any goal.

It was Juventus who did more of the playing as Lazio sit back and defend with hope of breaking with a counter attack.

Cristiano Ronaldo almost made it count as he struck from close range but his effort couldn’t hit the target.

Ciro Immobile came close with a clear chance on goal but it failed to go in for his side.

It ended goalless in the first half as Juventus and Lazio players went for the break.

Second Half Report

The second 45 minutes provided three goals as both sides were on target in the encounter.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Juventus the lead in the 51st minute after scoring from the penalty spot.

It came after Bastos handled the ball inside his own penalty area before the Portuguese player converted.

Ronaldo made it 2-0 in the 54th minute after an easy finish saw him tap the ball into the net with assist from Dybala.

Lazio soon pulled one back from the spot thanks to Ciro Immobile after Bonucci conceded a foul.
