Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard has warned his players to remain focused on their plans to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
The Blues are currently fourth in the table two points ahead of Manchester United in fifth but a win today against Aston Villa will extend their gap to five points.
Coach Lampard is adamant that it will be “very tough” to secure Champions League qualification as the Blues still have tough matches left against Wolves, Manchester City, Leicester, and Liverpool.
“It’s will be very tough,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official website.
“You want every point possible on the table. There are many tough games ahead of us. It’s a struggle.
“We have to face the matches as they come, remain focused and not look too much.
“If we can be focused and get the results it will be better for us.
“We have teams behind and around us with a lot of quality players that want Champions League football. It won’t be easy but we can do our best.”
Before the coronavirus lockdown, Chelsea were in impressive form in March as they defeated both Everton and Liverpool.
