Aston Villa face Chelsea in the Premier League today as both clubs resume the 2019-20 season, MySportDab reports. 

Aston Villa Coach Dean Smith said his assistant John Terry will hope to get a win over on his former club.

As Villa host Chelsea in the Premier League, Terry’s former team-mate Frank Lampard is now in charge of the Blues.

Chelsea in 4th will continue their bid for Champions League football next season.

But, Aston Villa have lost every match against top four clubs this season, and conceded 21 goals in six matches.

They lost 2-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season and Coach Smith insisted they are prepared to face Lampard’s team.

He added: “We have an idea of their squad and the way they play.

“We know each other’s players because nothing’s changed within the teams. We have a good idea of what we’re going to face.”

Aston Villa vs Chelsea kick-off?

The Premier League match kicks off at 4.15pm.
