Jude Bellingham is now on his way to Borussia Dortmund after refusing to join Manchester United, MySportDab reports.

The 16-year-old has been a long target for United and he was also given a tour of United’s Carrington training complex by Sir Alex Ferguson.

But, According to German Newspaper Bild, Jude has chosen for a switch to Germany ahead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

United were increasingly confident of signing the teenage midfielder after doing everything possible in recent months.

According to The Sun, Bellingham was ‘blown away’ by the tour of United’s Carrington training ground in March after talks with the club.

Bellingham met Sir Alex Ferguson, before being taken around Carrington with his parents.

A source at Old Trafford said: ‘We believe that he was blown away with what he saw and what everyone said to him.

‘We think he was very impressed with what we can offer. We love to care for young players and want them to develop.’

But it looks like Dortmund’s record of signing young playing and giving them immediate first-team opportunities has gotten Bellingham delighted.

Former Manchester City player Jadon Sancho has impressed at Borussia Dortmund since his transfer in 2017.

MySportDab understands that Bellingham will remain at Birmingham for the rest of the season.

However, there’s a contract situation which allows him to sign a professional contract on his 17th birthday June 29, just nine days before the Championship resumes.

Bellingham currently earns just £145 per week at Birmingham but would earn around £60,000 per week at Dortmund.

Jude Bellingham has played 35 matches in his breakout season for the Championship club and scored four goals.

His talent and form has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe.
