Manchester City are ready to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey as a potential replacement for Leroy Sane, MySportDab reports.
Leroy Sane could leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, with Bayern Munich expected to sign him.
City have monitored Bailey for some years now, but the uncertainty regarding Sane’s future could see the club finally make their move.
Bailey is seen as a perfect replacement for Sane, with the Jamaica international able to play on both wings.
The 22-year-old is left-footed, but can use both feet.
Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola prefers wingers that can play on both flanks, just like Raheem Sterling on a regular basis.
Arsenal have also shown interest in Bailey before, but City’s financial power means a move to Manchester is more likely because of his £40m price tag.
Leon Bailey has scored seven goals for Bundesliga Club Bayern Leverkusen so far this season.
