Manchester City are now ready to pay £97.5million to for Inter Milan Striker Lautaro Martinez Ahead of Barcelona and Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

Martinez has attracted interests from various clubs and Barcelona are ready to make him their new main forward.

Manchester City are now ready to beat Barca and Chelsea to get Martinez.

The Citizens are in search for a new long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero and have identified the Argentine as their main target.

Pep

Lautaro Martinez has scored 12 goals in 22 Serie A matches for Inter Milan this season and was heavily linked to Barcelona in January.

MySportDab understands the La Liga Giant are expected to try again to sign him this summer and are also willing to pay his release clause of £97.5m.

However, they face serious competition from City and Chelsea.

According to The Sun, City will pay the release clause due to Pep Guardiola’s desire for the 22-year-old.

Martinez

That would be a massive blow to Chelsea’s chances of signing the striker, due to interest in Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

The Blues have paid £37m to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, and are unlikely to pay £97.5m on signing Martinez this summer.

Lautaro has already played alongside Barcelona Star Lionel Messi for Argentina and could want to play with his countyman at club level.

After starting at Racing Club, Martinez signed for Inter in 2018 and has now produced some impressive performances.
