Neymar Mocks Erling Haaland Goal Celebration As PSG Reach Quarter-finals Of UCL (Video)

Neymar mocked striker Erling Haaland by imitating his goal celebration during PSG’s 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last-16 2nd leg, MySportDab reports. 

Haaland scored twice in the first leg to give Dortmund a 2-1 victory, but Neymar mocked the 19-year-old after he scored 28 minutes into the 2nd fixture.

The Brazilian dived to head in Angel Di Maria’s corner and celebrated by sitting in front of the Dortmund bench, crossing his legs and performing a meditation pose.

Paris Saint-Germain took another cricual step towards the quarter-finals when Juan Bernat scored from Pablo Sarabia’s cross, and the hosts defended very well in the second half to secure a 3-2 aggregate win.

Neymar was involved in a heated exchange in the closing minutes.

The 28-year-old stood upto Emre Can after being fouled by the Borussia Dortmund midfielder who responded by throwing him to the floor.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland had a bad night at Parc des Princes.

The match was played behind closed doors in order to prevent the spread of deadly Coronavirus but the teenager was himself like a spectator.

The Ligue 1 Champions decided to haunt Haaland at full-time by gathering on the pitch and performing his goal celebration together.

Neymar has now been involved in 38 goals across 28 home Champions League appearances.

He has never lost in a home European game, registering 25 wins and three draws.

Paris Saint-Germain have now reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2016 having crashed out of the competition at the last-16 in the last three seasons.
