Callum Hudson-Odoi Is Back To Full Fitness After CoronaVirus – Frank Lampard Confirms

Frank Lampard says Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has made brilliant development in his recovery from coronavirus.

The 19-year-old tested positive for Covid-19 last week , forcing Chelsea to close part of their training facilities.

The Blues reopened their training floor on Tuesday, however Hudson-Odoi and these who came into contact with him continue to be in isolation.

“I’m glad to say that in Callum’s case, he has made super development and nearly feels his regular self, which is of course the news we all want to hear,” Lampard told the club’s website.

Hudson-Odoi was the first Premier League player tested to have contracted the virus, however many players have had to be isolated amid current scares.

Football has ground to a halt in Europe because of the pandemic, as many governments have banned public gatherings and ordered corporations and faculties to close.

Coronavirus has claimed at least 7,500 lives worldwide considering the outbreak commenced and there have been more than 1,900 confirmed instances in the UK.

And Lampard took the time to urge people to take care of every different in such a demanding period.

“I am of course conscious that not everyone can or will get better from this virus, so I urge all of the soccer and sporting community to proceed to act responsibly and look out for the health of others,” he added.

“I want to make it clear that I am no medical professional when it comes to difficult instances such as these however please do take the time to call older family and vulnerable people who may be alone, or provide to drop round shopping if they can’t get out. Let’s make sure we all take care of every other.

“Social distancing can leave us feeling isolated, alternatively we can proceed to guide every other even if that means doing it remotely.

“Of course we nonetheless don’t know when competitive soccer will restart, however it isn’t worth worrying about that too much at the moment.

We all miss football, however right now it’s about acting responsibly and in the fine interests of society. I am positive I wasn’t the only one who found myself in a abnormal vicinity with no sport this weekend, however sooner or later none of that matters when we think about the bigger picture.”
