Ajax have announced the sale of midfielder Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea in a £35m deal, MySportDab reports.
The Dutch club released a statement that confirmed the Morocco international will join the Premier League club in July.
The transfer is worth £33.3million and could rise to £36.7m with potential add-ons.
With Ziyech, Chelsea now have one of Europe’s hottest talents scoring 49 goals in 160 matches for Ajax.
Last season with Ajax, he won the Dutch title and KNVB Cup and was also named named Dutch footballer of the year in 2018.
The arrival of Ziyech will provide competition for places at Stamford Bridge with Pulisic, Pedro, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian.
Ziyech becomes Lampard’s first signing as Chelsea manager following a no way January transfer window which left him frustrated with the club’s lack of activity.
He said: “We have become the underdogs and the outsiders because the teams within have all strengthened. It’s the fact.
“Each time I check the TV, a player has signed for another club.”
Following the official announcement, Ajax took to Twitter and congratulated Chelsea on their new signing and promising that their investment will pay dividends as long as they show faith in his abilities.
The Netherlands club wrote: “Hey @ChelseaFC, you have to believe in him. And great things shall happen.”
— AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) MySportDab can confirm that an official statement from Chelsea read: “Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer.
“The transfer is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club until the end of this season.”
