Arsenal have no plans of selling Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona during the January transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Aubameyang has emerged as a target for the Catalan club as they continue their search for Luis Suarez replacement.
Arsenal have endured a tough campaign under both Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta so far this season but Aubameyang has continued scoring goals even though.
The Gabon international has scored 14 Premier League goals from 22 games this term to help keep Arsenal in the top four race.
However, Barcelona have now emerged as potential suitors for the 30-year-old.
MySportDab understands the Catalan giants will miss Striker Luis Suarez who is now injured for four months, after the Uruguay international went through to an operation due to issues in his right knee.
Barcelona still have Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann in attack despite the absence of Suarez.
Despite this, they have still shown interest in an audacious loan deal for Aubameyang.
But According to Goal.com, Arsenal’s hierarchy are angry at Barcelona for their transfer interest.
And the Gunners are still hopeful of keeping the former Borussia Dortmund player beyond this season.
Aubameyang’s Arsenal contract expires at the end of next season.
