The 2023 Ballon d’Or award nominees for Men’s Best Player of the Year has been announced, MySportDab reports.
A number of high-profile players, who recorded brilliant campaigns for the clubs and national teams have been earmarked for the coveted award.
Leading of the list of players nominated for the award is Karim Benzema of Al Ittihad.
Benzema joined the list after sterling campaign with his former club, Real Madrid in Laliga.
Benzema starred for Real Madrid as the club reached the semifinal of Champions League.
Also on the list is Liverpool star forward, Mohamed Salah, who has been brilliant for Liverpool in the Premier League.
Bayern Munich youngster, Jamal Musiala has also been nominated for the award following his brilliant outing with Bayern Munich last season which saw won the Bundesliga at the death.
Former Inter Milan goalkeeper and Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana has been listed for the award after helped Inter Milan reached Champions League final and also clinch a domestic double with Inter Milan.
Bukayo Saka, who starred for Arsenal last season and also had a brilliant national team campaign with England senior men’s national team, has also been nominated fort the award.
Another fast-rising youngster and England international, Jude Bellingham, who is now plying his trade with Real Madrid is also on the list of nominees.
Former Eintracht Frankfurt star and France international, Randal Kolo Muani, has also been nominated for the award including Manchester City duo, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.
Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva led the pack as Manchester City won their third successive Premier League title and also clinch their first Champions League trophy with a treble.

Other names nominated for the award are Lionel Messi, who won the World Cup with Argentina last and French Ligue 1 with PSG.
Kylian Mbappe, who reached the World Cup final with France and won French Ligue 1 with PSG, have also made the list.
Manchester City deadly forward, Erling Haaland is also included in the list including Napoli duo Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Other big names included on the list are Robert Lewandwoski, Niccolo Barella, Julian Alvarez, IIkay Gundogan, Harry Kane, Luka Modric, Antoine Griezman, and others.
