Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is planning to leave Manchester after the expiration of his new two years contract with the club, MySportDab reports.

Guardiola, who just ended Manchester City’s wait for the Champions League trophy is reportedly set to leave the club in 2025 when his contract expires.

According to the Guardian, Pep Guardiola is more keen on coaching an international team than club football after he runs out his contract with Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016 on a three year contract and extended the contact in 2019 to stay at the club till this summer.

His contract was set to expire this summer but he has extended it again by two more years to stay further till 2025.

Now, the Guardian reports the Spaniard will not extend his contract at the club after his current new two-year deal expire.

The former Barcelona manager reportedly had a dream of coaching four big clubs in the four top Leagues in Europe.

After his spell with Manchester City he was expected to head to Italy to realise his dream but he has now chosen to hands off his coaching career with club football and go for national team job instead.

Pep Guardiola started his coaching career at Barcelona after a spell with the club’s reserve team.
