Away from the cameras, one person has remained her constant source of support through career milestones, a public privacy invasion, cancer treatment, years of fertility struggles, and motherhood. That person is her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll.

Their relationship has become one of the strongest and most admired marriages in professional sports because it has been built on loyalty, privacy, and resilience rather than constant headlines.

Who Is Erin Andrews’ Husband?

Jarret Stoll Wife

Erin Andrews is married to former National Hockey League player Jarret Stoll. Stoll was born in Melville, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Growing up in a hockey-loving community, he developed into one of Canada’s top junior prospects before joining the Western Hockey League.

He played for the Kootenay Ice, where he established himself as one of the league’s best two-way centers.

His performances earned him selection by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2002 NHL Draft.

Stoll made his NHL debut with Edmonton before becoming a regular member of the roster during the 2005 season.

Known for winning faceoffs, penalty killing, and leadership, he became a valuable player throughout his career.

In 2008, he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings, where the most successful period of his career began.

His biggest achievements came with the Kings, where he helped the franchise win its first two Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014.

Following retirement, Stoll remained involved in hockey through player development and television analysis while focusing more on family life with Andrews.

Career

Jarret Stoll became an important part of the Kings teams that transformed the franchise. In 2012, Los Angeles defeated the New Jersey Devils to win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.

Two years later, the Kings captured another championship after defeating the New York Rangers in five games.

Stoll’s defensive play, faceoff ability, and experience made him a trusted player during both championship runs.

After spending one season with the New York Rangers, Stoll retired following the 2015 and 2016 seasons and later joined the Los Angeles Kings organization in player development. He has also worked as a television analyst covering NHL games.

Marriage

Erin Andrews

Erin and Jarret first met in the early 2010s through mutual friends. Their relationship quickly became serious despite demanding careers that often kept them traveling.

While Andrews spent much of the year covering college football and the NFL, Stoll remained focused on his NHL career.

The couple preferred keeping their relationship private instead of constantly appearing in celebrity news.

As their relationship grew stronger, they regularly supported one another during major career moments. Engagement After dating for several years, Stoll proposed to Andrews in December 2016.

The proposal took place at Disneyland’s exclusive Club 33 restaurant. Andrews later revealed that she had been completely surprised by the proposal.

The engagement received widespread attention across the sports world, with fans celebrating the couple’s long-awaited next step.

Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll married on June 24, 2017. The ceremony took place in Montana with close friends and family attending. Instead of hosting a large celebrity wedding, they chose an intimate celebration that reflected their preference for privacy.

Since then, they have remained one of sports’ most respected couples.

Erin’s Cancer Diagnosis

One of the defining chapters in their relationship came before their wedding. In 2016, Andrews was diagnosed with cervical cancer after a routine medical examination. She underwent surgery while continuing to work throughout much of the NFL season.

Only a small number of people knew about her diagnosis at the time. Stoll remained by her side throughout treatment and recovery.

Years later, Andrews has spoken openly about how his support helped her navigate one of the most difficult periods of her life.

Her willingness to discuss cervical cancer has also encouraged women to prioritize regular health screenings.

After getting married, Andrews and Stoll hoped to start a family. The journey proved far more challenging than expected.

Andrews later shared that she underwent numerous rounds of IVF while balancing one of the busiest schedules in sports broadcasting.

She chose to speak publicly about infertility because she wanted other women facing similar struggles to know they were not alone. Her honesty received widespread praise from fans, medical professionals, and fellow broadcasters.

The couple eventually welcomed their first child through surrogacy. They welcomed their son, Mack, in 2023. The couple announced his arrival with heartfelt messages celebrating the years of perseverance that led to becoming parents.

Since then, Andrews has occasionally shared small glimpses of family life while continuing to protect their son’s privacy.

Motherhood has become one of the happiest chapters of her personal life.

Before becoming one of television’s biggest sports personalities, Andrews worked as a reporter for the Sunshine Network covering the Tampa Bay Lightning. She later joined ESPN in 2004.

During her eight years with the network, Andrews covered college football, Major League Baseball, college basketball, and numerous major sporting events.

She became one of ESPN’s most recognizable on-air personalities. In 2012, she joined Fox Sports.

She currently serves as the lead NFL sideline reporter alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady on Fox’s top broadcast team.

Outside sports broadcasting, Andrews also co-hosted Dancing with the Stars for several seasons and has built successful business ventures, including her women’s sports apparel brand, WEAR by Erin Andrews.
