Bayern Munich put up a merciless performance which saw them thrashed FC Rottach-Egern 15-0 in a pre-season friendly match which saw them bounce back from a previous loss.

The Bavarians continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season in devastating fashion with a demolition of Rottach-Egern in a pre-season friendly at Stadion am Birkenmoos.

Vincent Kompany’s side overwhelmed the amateur outfit from the opening whistle, producing an attacking masterclass that featured 15 goals from a mixture of experienced stars and exciting young prospects.

The German champions wasted little time asserting their dominance as the floodgates opened inside the opening 15 minutes. Pavic broke the deadlock in the eighth minute before Arijon Ibrahimovic doubled Bayern’s advantage just a minute later.

The relentless pressure continued as Felipe Chavez struck in the 10th minute to make it 3-0 before adding his second goal three minutes later, leaving Rottach-Egern with little hope of containing Bayern’s attacking quality at 4-0.

Despite already holding a commanding lead, Bayern refused to ease off. Their crisp passing, intelligent movement, and high pressing kept the hosts pinned inside their own half for long periods.

Ibrahimovic grabbed his second goal in first-half stoppage time, finishing confidently to make it 5-0, before Maycon Cardozo added a sixth goal moments later to cap an outstanding opening 45 minutes for the Bundesliga giants.

Bayern headed into the interval with a comfortable 6-0 advantage after completely dominating possession and creating chances at will. Kompany made several changes after the restart, but Bayern’s intensity remained unchanged.

Cardozo continued his impressive display by scoring his second goal of the afternoon in the 50th minute. Just one minute later, Armindo Sieb found the net to extend the lead to 8-0 as Bayern’s substitutes immediately made their presence felt.

The goals continued to arrive in quick succession. Midfielder Joao Palhinha joined the scoresheet in the 56th minute with a well-taken finish before Sieb completed his brace three minutes later to register Bayern’s tenth goal of the contest.

The German champions looked determined to maintain their relentless tempo, refusing to settle despite the lopsided scoreline. The final 25 minutes saw even more attacking brilliance from Bayern’s young talents.

Ndiaye made it 11-0 in the 66th minute before Assomo scored just a minute later to leave the hosts completely overwhelmed. The Bavarians academy players continued to impress as the encounter carried on.

There was still time for three more goals before the final whistle. Midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic added Bayern’s 13th goal in the 86th minute before captain Joshua Kimmich got on the scoresheet two minutes later with the visitors 14th.

Deep into stoppage time, Nuraj completed the remarkable scoring by netting Bayern’s 15th goal, sealing another emphatic victory over Rottach-Egern in their traditional summer meeting.

The match ended with a 15-0 victory for the Bavarians who were unstoppable despite fielding two different teams which did not have key players who left for the FIFA World Cup.

While the scoreline was extraordinary, the fixture served its primary purpose as Bayern’s final match during their training camp in Tegernsee.

Youngsters such as Felipe Chavez, Maycon Cardozo, and Arijon Ibrahimovic seized the opportunity with eye-catching performances that could strengthen their case for greater involvement during the upcoming campaign.

The annual fixture has become a tradition between Bayern Munich and Rottach-Egern, with the Bundesliga champions regularly facing the local amateur side during their summer training camp.

Although the difference in quality often produces one-sided scorelines, the match remains an important community event and provides the German giant with a useful fitness exercise ahead of more competitive pre-season fixtures.

Bayern Munich will now turn their attention to tougher opposition as preparations for the 2026/27 season continue. However, the 15-0 victory offered plenty of positives for Kompany, whose side displayed clinical finishing, impressive squad depth.
