Liverpool claimed a 5-2 victory against West Ham United which pushed them into contention for fourth position, MySportDab reports.
It was a one sided affair which saw the Premier League Champions making sure they claimed the maximum three points.
First Half Report
There was so much the reds needed to to as they stepped into the pitch knowing top four is gradually slipping away from them.
Hugo Ekitike opened the goal scoring with a wonderful finish which was assisted by Gravenberch in the 5th minute to make things 1-0.
Dominik Szoboszlai assisted Virgil van Dijk who scored in the 24th minute making sure things became 2-0 as the game continued.
A goal from Alexis Mac Allister made sure the scoreline was 3-0 with assist from Hugo Ekitike in the 43rd minute before the break.
Second Half Report
Tomas Soucek pulled one goal back in the 49th minute which gave a glimpse of hope to the Hammers with a 3-1 scoreline as things carried on.
Cody Gakpo made things 4-1 with an assist from Hugo Ekitike again. Bowen assisted Castellanos in the 75th with a goal which made it 4-2.
Axel Disasi scored an own-goal in the 82nd minute making sure the match became 5-2 as they pushed on Forward.
