Manchester United have moved to sign Premier League star as they prepare for Marcus Rashford’s permanent transfer exit, MySportDab reports.

Away from his Man United’s misfortunes, Rashford is relishing life with Barcelona in the La Liga. Despite playing second fiddle in the wings to Raphinha, the English star has won the heart of Barcelona fans for his gameplay and instant impact each time he is given the chance.

He has racked up double-digits in goal contributions in La Liga, scoring four and providing seven assists in the Spanish top flight.

Notably, Rashford’s La Liga exploits is just a tip of the iceberg as he boasts a team-leading five goals in eight Champions League appearances for Barcelona.

At the time of filing this report, the Barcelona hierarchy are reportedly considering making his loan deal permanent following these impressive tallies.

Sources close to the player’s camp have also revealed he his happy at the club and hopeful of securing a permanent contract instead of returning to United.

With the prospects of losing the 26-year-old looming large, United have reportedly began scouring the market for his replace, with Everton and Senegal’s right winger IIiman Ndiaye emerging as a priority target to fill the void.

Ndiaye won the just-concluded 2025 AFCON with Senegal and has four goals plus two assists in 21 Premier League appearances for Everton this season.

He has three years left on his deal with the Toffees, but is likely to be tempted by what could be a big career switch to United.
