Morgan Rogers scored twice as Aston Villa claimed a 2-1 victory against Manchester United at the Villa Park, MySportDab reports.
Matheus Cunha leveler wasn’t enough as the Devil’s failed to pick up any point in another match this season.
First Half Report
Both teams came in with intention of getting the maximum points which could only happen for one of them after 90 minutes.
Aston Villa kept good at it and dominated play at some period which saw them pressed but couldn’t make anything happen.
Morgan Rogers scored a beauty in the 45th minute after an assist from McGinn which saw the game quickly became 1-0.
Dorgu setup Matheus Cunha who restored things back to level 1-1 in additional time before both teams headed for the break.
Second Half Report
The second half kicked off with both teams looked sharp and eager to do more as the scoreline was 1-1 between them.
Manchester United knew they needed to up their game. Unfortunately, Morgan Rogers scored another stunner in the 57th minute.
Ollie Watkins setup the assist which saw Rogers made it a brace for himself and also made things 2-1 as they carried on.
Aston Villa claimed the three points after holding on to their 2-1 victory against Manchester United which saw them remain top four.
