The advantage was doubled in the 59th minutes with a wonderful finish from Flaco Lopez who was able to make things 2-0.
The goal came through a lovely assist from Mauricio who made sure his delivery was in perfection for the goal.
Palmeiras faced so much pressure in the closing minutes but they managed to claim a 2-0 victory against Al Ahly after the final whistle.
