There is a growing tension currently going on in the Portugal national team camp which involves Cristiano Ronaldo and head coach, Jorge Jesus.
The tension has been hitting up since the Al Nassr captain was an unused sub during Portugal recent game against Norway which they won.
Despite Jorge Jesus coming out to clarify things after the match, it seems there is still a lot more going on behind the scenes.
Following the game against Norway, Cristiano Ronaldo did not greet the home fans, but instead he went inside immediately it was over.
The Portugal coach confirmed there wasn’t an issue as they both had a talk and everything was made clear.
Meanwhile, The Touchline confirmed saying: “Tensions between Jorge Jesus and Cristiano Ronaldo have erupted once again because Jorge Jesus said at a press conference that ‘there was no problem’ between the two of them, when in fact there is.
“Cristiano Ronaldo has left the Portuguese national team’s training camp after hearing these statements from Jorge Jesus.
There hasn’t been anything said yet from Cristiano who remains mute about the whole situation that is currently going on.
The team are still preparing to play another game before the international window comes to a close for the period.
This isn’t the first time an issue like this has happened in the Portugal Camp. Similar case did show itself during the World Cup in Qatar.
However, as time goes on, there should be a clear picture of what is going on between the player and the national team head coach.
There is a possibility that the Al Nassr captain might not take part in the next game as reports claimed he already left training camp.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Jesus both had their time together with Al Nassr before the manager eventually left the club.
