The Premier League Award winners for the month of August has been officially announced and unveiled today.
Joao Pedro of Chelsea leads the way by claiming the Premier League player of the month after an outstanding performance with his club.
It was a well deserving one for the Brazilian and other winners who took home the awards for their respective categories.
Joao Pedro – Player Of The Month Winner
The Chelsea and Brazil player had an incredible month playing against Fulham and Brighton for August. His contribution played a huge role in both victories.
Joao Pedro scored twice and made two assists in both games. He did well in both games which helped him make a statement after being left out of Brazil World Cup squad.
This season already started well for the Chelsea striker who recently took over the number 9 shirt that has been heavy on other players in the past.
Sergej Jakirovic – Manager of the Month Winner
Hull City manager made a strong statement after helping his team to a strong Premier League start which saw them stunned Manchester United.
Sergej Jakirovic saw his side claimed a solid victory against Manchester United in their opening game of the season after just gaining promotion.
During the month of August, they made it two wins out of two games played. The feat saw the Tigers manager being crown winner of this category.
Anthony Elanga – Goal of the Month Winner
The Sweden and Newcastle United player scored a sensational goal which sent the whole of social media into talks for the first two games of the season.
The 2026/2027 campaign is just getting started, but we have already witnessed some insane goals which Anthony Elanga scored one of those.
Elanga scored his goal of the month during Newcastle United match against Tottenham. His finish against Spurs has been rewarded as the best goal.
Jordan Pickford – Save of the Month Winner
The England number one has been nothing beyond incredible over the years. He continues his incredible form for the new season with Everton.
Jordan Pickford once again proved why he is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League by pulling off another amazing save of the month award.
Pickford save came during Crystal Palace match. He denied Edward Nketiah a close-range scoring chance which could have easily been a goal.
Oli McBurnie – Creative Moment of the Month Winner
Hull City snatched up two awards for the month of August. Sergej Jakirovic claimed manager of the month, while Oli McBurnie assist earned him this category.
The newly promoted Premier League team has been unstoppable this season after playing three games.
Aside being unbeaten, they are yet to concede any goal despite going up against Manchester United in one of those games.
