Matheus Cunha late goal saw Manchester United rescued a point as they played out a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League.
The visitors looked the more dangerous side for long periods and created several chances, but the home team remained organized and difficult to break down.

The own goal gave Fulham a deserved 1-0 lead and lifted the atmosphere inside Craven Cottage. Meanwhile, the game opened up more after the goal scored by the home team.
After falling behind, Manchester United pushed forward in search of an equalizer. The visitors increased the pressure and spent much of the final stages attacking around the Fulham penalty area.
Fulham defended bravely and looked set to claim all three points. However, Manchester United found a breakthrough in the 89th minute which immediately turned things 1-1.
Matheus Cunha fired a shot towards goal, and the effort took a significant deflection off Fulham defender David Affengruber before beating goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The goal was credited to Cunha, while Dorgu claimed the assist as things became level with little time left for both teams to take the lead.
The deflection wrong-footed Leno and ensured United left London with a point. The final whistle arrived shortly after the equalizer, leaving both teams with a share of the points.
Manchester United were able to rescue a point for themselves against Fulham after 90 minutes of action which was played between the both of them with a final result of 1-1.
The home team will feel disappointed after coming so close to securing their first league win of the season, while United will be relieved to avoid another defeat after a difficult run of results.
Senne Lammens was one of the standout performers on the pitch, producing important saves that kept his side in the game before Cunha’s late intervention.
