Chelsea were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against newly promoted Hull City at Stamford Bridge after a thrilling 90 minutes Premier League encounter.

The Blues started brightly and looked on course for all three points, but the Tigers showed great character to fight back and earn a valuable result away from home.

The match featured four goals, exciting attacking football, and another reminder that the London club still have defensive issues to solve.

Chelsea took the lead early in the game through Morgan Rogers who scored in the 7th minute. The forward continued his excellent start to life at Stamford Bridge by finding the back of the net after a well-worked attacking move.

Joao Pedro provided the assist, setting up Rogers to score the home side opening goal and give the supporters something to celebrate as the game progressed.

The goal arrived in the opening stages of the first half and looked like it would help the Blues take control of the match.

However, Hull City responded well and refused to be intimidated by the occasion. The visitors equalized when Mohamed Belloumi took advantage of a defensive mistake to make it 1-1.

Ryan Giles supplied the assist with an excellent cross into the penalty area, and Belloumi finished confidently past Emiliano Martinez in the 28th minute.

The Tigers continued to grow into the game and looked dangerous whenever they attacked. The visitors completed the turnaround before halftime.

Belloumi grabbed his second goal of the afternoon after the Blues once again failed to deal with the danger inside their own box in the 34th minute of play.

The winger reacted quickest to put Hull ahead 2-1, stunning the Stamford Bridge crowd and giving the newly promoted side a deserved lead heading into the break.

The World Champions defenders struggled throughout the first half, and their opponent fully capitalized on those mistakes to score two goals.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso made tactical adjustments which saw Hato dropped for Chavarria after halftime as he searched for a way back into the contest.

The Blues dominated possession and created several chances in the second half. Cole Palmer became increasingly influential, helping Chelsea push Hull deeper into their own half.

The pressure eventually paid off when the Blues found the equalizer in the 66th minute. The second goal arrived through Joao Pedro, who continued his impressive form.

Palmer delivered the assist with a quality ball into the box, and Joao Pedro finished well to make it 2-2. The Brazilian striker showed great composure to score and rescue a point for the Blues.

His goal ensured the Blues avoided defeat, although they were unable to find a winning goal despite creating more opportunities late in the match.

The Tigers nearly snatched a winner in the closing stages, bu goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez produced important saves to keep the score level.

The visitors defended strongly during the final minutes and held on for a deserved draw. The match ended up with Chelsea being held to a 2-2 draw against a solid Hull City team.

The newly promoted Premier League team once again showing they came prepared after passing through playoffs to return to top flight football this season.

The result marked another frustrating afternoon for the Blues as they continue to concede easy goals. While the attack once again showed quality through Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer, and Joao Pedro, defensive errors proved costly.

The Blues have now conceded multiple goals in several matches this season, and improving at the back will be a key priority for Alonso moving forward.

The 2-2 draw leaves Chelsea with mixed feelings after fighting back from behind, while Hull City can celebrate another impressive Premier League result away from home.
