Champions Arsenal came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 in an entertaining Premier League London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

The match had everything fans expect from a clash between these two rivals, early goals, fast attacking football, big chances, and late drama.

In the end, the Gunners showed their quality and character to secure all three points in front of their home supporters after 90 minutes played.

Chelsea made the perfect start and stunned the Emirates crowd after just two minutes. Morgan Rogers found space inside the Arsenal penalty area and finished well to give the visitors an early 1-0 lead.

The goal came only 77 seconds into the match and immediately put the home side under pressure with so much time still left in the encounter.

The Blues looked dangerous in the opening stages, with Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer, and Joao Pedro causing problems whenever they attacked.

However, the Gunners responded strongly and gradually took control of the game. Mikel Arteta’s side dominated possession and created several chances as they searched for an equaliser.

Their pressure finally paid off in the 25th minute when Kai Havertz scored against his former club. The German forward produced an excellent finish to make it 1-1 and bring the home side back into the contest.

Havertz was one of the standout performers throughout the match, leading the attack with confidence and intelligence.

The rest of the first half was played at a high tempo. Chelsea remained dangerous on the counterattack and almost regained the lead before the break when Pedro Neto struck the post after a quick attacking move.

Arsenal also continued to create opportunities, with Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Declan Rice heavily involved in their attacking play.

The teams went into halftime level at 1-1 after an exciting opening 45 minutes. The home side started the second half with greater intensity and quickly found the winning goal.

Five minutes after the restart, Havertz played a clever dummy that allowed Martin Odegaard to run onto the ball and finish brilliantly.

The Arsenal captain showed great composure as he fired past the goalkeeper to complete the comeback and put the Gunners ahead 2-1.

It was a goal that showed the understanding between Havertz and Odegaard and how the the Premier League Champions have grown into a formidable team.

After taking the lead, the Champions continued to look threatening but could not find a third goal. Chelsea pushed forward in search of an equaliser and created several dangerous moments.

Palmer and Rogers remained lively, while substitute Estevao nearly rescued a point for the Blues with a powerful late effort, it wasn’t good enough.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya produced an outstanding save in the closing stages to protect his side’s lead and ensure they collected all three points.

Several players from the home team delivered impressive performances. Havertz was involved in both goals and played one of his best games of the season.

Odegaard controlled the midfield and scored the winner, while Rice, Gabriel, and Saka also played key roles. For the Blues, Rogers impressed with his early goal, while Neto was a constant threat on the wing.

Despite their bright moments, Chelsea struggled to match Arsenal’s consistency and control for the full 90 minutes which gave them all the three points.

The victory continues the Champions strong recent record against the Blues and keeps them among the early Premier League pace-setters.

It was another sign that Arteta’s side remain serious contenders this season. Xabi Alonso’s side showed flashes of quality but were left disappointed after surrendering an early lead.

The comeback victory for Arsenal demonstrated resilience, tactical discipline, and the ability to win big matches against top opponents. Chelsea will have to do better if they are to compete against bigger opponents.
