Barcelona have crashed out of the 2025-26 Copa Del Rey despite seeing off Atletico Madrid 3–0 in a heated second leg at Camp Nou, MySportDab reports.
The Blaugrana went into the game on a heavy four-goal deficit, having suffered a shock 4–0 loss in the first leg in Madrid.
They needed to win by at least a five-goal handicap to qualify for the final of the competition.

As expected, Hansi Flick’s side got the better of the Diego Simeone’ charges right from the start of the game an were looking set to cruise to victory.
They dominated possession and had the visitors effectively pinned to their own half for the most of the game due to mounting pressure.
However, a goal was yet to come by until just a minute before half hour. 18-year-old fast-rising youngster Marc Bernal opened the scoring for the hosts, thanks to Lamine Yamal’s assist.
Just at the last touch of the game before the break, Raphinha strengthened comeback hopes for the Culers, converting from the spot to make it 2–0.
That goal saw the Catalan giants halved the aggregate deficit at the interval and went into the break on heightened hopes of staging a comeback.
In the second half, Atletico Madrid posed a more stronger challenge, sitting back on a low block to counter the hosts’ countless offensives.
However, Barcelona were still able to break the deadlock an edge closer to securing comeback as Bernal scored again in the 72nd minute to make it 3–0.
With just a goal left to equal the aggregate score, the game was poised for a dramatic ending. Atletico Madrid retreated deeper after Bernal’s brace as the pressure continued to mount.
And it finally ended with them preventing the final goal that would have tied the game on aggregate, thereby progressing to the final on a 4–3 aggregate victory, while Barcelona crashes out.
