Cameroon made light work of South Africa 1-2 to book their place for the AFCON 2025 quarter final, MySportDab reports.
It was a shocker based off how both teams made it out from their respective groups which was very different.
First Half ReportÂ
It was a massive match for both national teams who are regarded with high respect based off their achievements.
However, the Bafana Bafana was seen as favorite to get the win. The match was calm between both teams as they pushed on against themselves.
No goal was seen until the 34th minute which saw Junior Tchamadeu score a wonderful goal with assist from Kotto which made it 0-1 before the break.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second 45 minutes had more action from both teams who looked sharp and ready to make sure they got things done.
Cameroon doubled their lead in the 47th minute thanks to a wonderful goal from Christian Michel Kofane who was assisted by Nagida.
It was 0-2 until South Africa pulled one goal back in the 88th minute through Makgopa which made sure it was 1-2 with little more to play.
Cameroon ended up taking the victory 1-2 which sees them knock out South Africa to quickly for the AFCON 2025 quarterfinals.
