Patson Daka scored in addition as Mali and Zambia played out a 1-1 draw at the ongoing AFCON 2025 tournament, MySportDab reports.
It was an incredible match which saw Zambia also gave a good account of themselves until they were able to make the comeback.
First Half Report
It was a strong game between both teams who matched each other with same power and pace as they pushed on.
Mali dominated play as the match progressed on the pitch. There was little to nothing that was coming out from the match after some minutes.
Things looked good for Zambia as long as they kept things level while they searched for any loopholes to explore.
El Bilal Toure missed a penalty in the 41st minute which could have easily gifted the Malians the lead before they headed for the break.
Second Half Report
The second half brought a lot of excitement which wasn’t witnessed in the first half which ended up being barren draw.
Lassine Sinayoko broke the deadlock in the 61st minute after a wonderful buildup before things became 1-0.
Banda setup Patson Daka who scored in the additional time to ensure the Zambians equalized the game 1-1.
Mali failed in their attempt to keep their lead as the match between them and Zambia finished in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
