On Cole Palmer injury: “I just met him in the canteen for breakfast and I said to him, in one week ‘you will be back’ and he was laughing. We are still waiting.”
On left wingers: “They are both [Garnacho and Gittens] adapting to the way we work every day. They are both doing very well.
“This is what we want from our wingers, scoring goals and assists.
“It’s good that they’re both doing very well so we can choose one or the other.”
On whether Liam Delap is a long way from the player he wants him to be: “I’m not from England, so sometimes when I try to translate from Italian to English, it’s a bit different.
“When Liam is on the pitch, he is more focused to try his battle with the defender. That’s what I was trying to say.
“There are three players in this team that I know better than the rest, Lavia, Palmer and Delap because I knew them from City U21s.
“I know Liam will be a fantastic player for us, but there are some things he can improve.”
On Spurs’ home record: “I think Tottenham are doing very good.
“They won the Europa League and they started really well this season.
“It’s a derby and it will be a difficult game.”
