Erling Haaland scored as Manchester City secured a 0-2 victory against Villarreal in Spain, MySportDab reports.
Bernardo Silva was also on target as the Premier League side put up another solid performance away from home.
First Half Report
It was a good beginning after the referee signalled for kickoff between both teams who showed class and dominance.
The first 15 minutes was goalless between both teams who had opportunities but couldn’t make them count for a goal.
Erling Haaland scored in the 17th minute which made sure Manchester City took a 0-1 lead with assist from Rico Lewis.
There was no coming back from Villarreal who conceded another goal in through Bernardo Silva in the 40th minute with a wonderful assist from Savinho.
It was 0-2 with nothing coming from the home side who had to settle with the scoreline after 45 minutes of action which was played.
Second Half Report
There was more action with both teams looked calm and coordinated. The scoreline wasn’t something that reflected on performance from both ends.
The home side continued but still were unable to make anything much with the game hitting the 90th minute mark.
It came to an end with Villarreal losing 0-2 against Manchester City who took home all three points after 90 minutes.
